Mrs. Bebow walks you through our entire lesson on solving one-step inequalities that involve addition and subtraction. Eleven examples total!
Mr. J explains the basics on how to solve one-step addition and subtraction inequalities. Four examples total.
This video goes through lots of examples on how to solve addition and subtraction inequalities.
Need a review on the basics of inequalities, including how to graph them on a number line? Click this button to see the resources on the 6th grade page for inequalities. Once you are on that page, scroll down to see the resources available for Lesson 6.6.

In this video, Mrs. Bebow will walk you through how to write and solve one-step inequalities that involve addition and subtraction...a.k.a. story problems! Four examples total.
[Part 1 of 2]
In this video, Mrs. Bebow will walk you through how to write and solve one-step inequalities that involve addition and subtraction...a.k.a. story problems! These application problems are a bit more involved compared to the examples in Part 1. Two examples total.
[Part 2 of 2]
This short tutorial shows how to write and solve inequality from a given word problem. One example.

In this video, Mrs. Bebow will walk you through how to solve one-step inequalities that involve multiplication and division. These problems involve POSITIVE coefficients only. Eight examples total!
Mr. J explains the basics on how to solve one-step multiplication and division inequalities. Four examples total.
This video goes through 3 examples on how to solve multiplication and division inequalities, including one word problem!

In this video, Mrs. Bebow will walk you through how to solve one-step inequalities that involve multiplication and division. These problems involve NEGATIVE coefficients, which there is a special trick to keep in mind when solving these types of inequalities (i.e. reverse the symbol!). Six examples total!
Mr. J goes through examples on solving multiplication and division inequalities, including many that have NEGATIVE coefficients, which means we have to flip the inequality symbol! Four examples total.
Mr. J explains why we have to flip the inequality symbol when we multiply or divide by a negative number on both sides of an inequality statement.

In this video, Mrs. Bebow will walk you through 6 examples on how to solve a two-step inequality and graph the solution. There are two examples that involve only integers and the other four examples involve rational numbers (i.e. fractions and decimals).
In this video, Mrs. Bebow will walk you through 4 story problems that involve writing and solving a two-step inequality, as well as how to interpret your solution.
In this video, Mrs. Bebow will walk you through a story problem that involves calculating a missing quiz/test score in order to meet a minimum grade in a class.
This video goes through two examples on how to solve a two-step inequality. There are also two additional problems at the end for you to try on your own (solutions are provided for you to check your answer).
This video goes through an example of solving a two-step inequality that contains rational numbers.
Four examples on how to set up and solve a two-step inequality.
